Jordan was selling. John was buying. The pedal changed hands, but the conversation kept going - turns out they both knew the same songs by heart and had been kicking around the idea of starting something for years.

A few jam sessions later, Marketplace Duo was born: a stripped-back two-piece built around tight harmonies, a singing lead guitar, and a songbook that draws from sixty years of the stuff people actually want to hear. We don't write originals. We don't need to.

Whether it's a back-porch evening, a brewery patio, a wedding cocktail hour, or a full bar night, we read the room and play it warm.
